AABB-certified collectors and AABB-accredited laboratory
Legal collections at Premier Drug & DNA Testing Services, LLC are performed by AABB-certified collectors. We verify ID, document chain of custody, and send the kit to Alliance DNA, an AABB-accredited laboratory. Premier is the collection site, not the laboratory. Specimens go out in the daily mail. There is no rush fee. The lab report is what Texas family court expects for child support and custody. Peace-of-mind tests do not follow that court process.
How much does a legal paternity test cost in Texas?
At Premier Drug & DNA Testing Services, LLC the legal paternity price is $250 for mother, child, and alleged father. That is the all-in collection price at our Dallas or Fort Worth site. Peace-of-mind testing is $150. If someone lives in another state, we can still arrange a collection. Call Fort Worth at (682) 882-3784 or Dallas at (972) 898-1846.
Legal DNA for child support and custody in Dallas
Our Dallas collection site is 900 Jackson St, Suite 160, Dallas, TX 75202. Legal DNA here uses chain of custody so the report can be used in child support, custody, and related family cases. Bring a government photo ID. A legal guardian must consent for any child under 18. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Legal DNA in Fort Worth and Tarrant County
Our Fort Worth collection site is 601 University Dr, Suite 103, Fort Worth, TX 76107. Same $250 legal price, same chain-of-custody process. This is the site to use for Tarrant County family court orders. Bring the court order if you have one.
Legal test vs peace-of-mind test
A legal test requires in-person ID, documented chain of custody, and an accredited-lab report. That is the version courts expect. A peace-of-mind test answers a private question. It is not built for court. If you might need the result in a hearing, book the legal test.
How the collection works
Schedule by phone or walk-in. We verify ID, collect a cheek swab in the office or by mobile appointment, seal the kit, and send it to an accredited laboratory. Results go to authorized parties through our secure portal or by mail. Out-of-state parties can be collected through a coordinated site.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Is this court admissible in Texas?
A: Legal collections follow chain of custody and use accredited-lab analysis so the report can be offered in Texas family court. Bring the order if the court issued one.
Q: Do both parents have to come the same day?
A: No. Parties can be collected at different times or in different states. We document each collection.
Q: How fast are results?
A: Standard legal results typically come back a few business days after Alliance DNA has all samples. We mail specimens every day. There is no rush fee. Timing depends on the lab after the kit arrives.
